Logitech nāk klajā ar UE AirPlay skaļruni

disappointingly for me there is no option to play vdeois you have shot on your iPhone to the Apple TV. I would have thought that shooting a video of the kids, dog, day at the beach or whatever and then beaming it to your Apple TV when you got home would have been a must for Apple to implement but nope, no option to do this from the iPhone.A clunky workaround is to play the video you shot from your camera roll on your iPhone then double tap the home button, scroll across the dock to the left where you will see the Airplay button to flick it on to the Apple TV. I found this more than useless and didn't really work for me. Video kept stopping and starting and never really made it to the Apple TVPhoto's on the other hand you have taken on your iPhone can be sent to the Apple TV no problems what so ever and even in a slide show. This is great, really great but it just makes it even more frustrating that video's don't work from the same iPhone camera app!!The whole Airplay thing is completely half baked for me to say the least, the parts that work are absolutely brilliant, streaming a movie from the iPad movie app is great and as I say a photo slide show from the iPhone is great.Airplay that works and is great:iPhone and iPad photos app So good, just sit back skip through photos or play a slideshow.iPad movie app Absolutely awesome, play the movie to the Apple TV and even carry on reading emails or whatever whilst your watching it.iPhone and iPad YouTube app YouTube app built into Apple TV so no biggie but niceiPhone and iPad ipod app Great to just stream the music to the TVAirplay that so frustratingly for no apparent reason does not work or just plays Audio:iPhone recorded vdeois ……..WHY!!!The iPad iTunes app ………WHY!!!YouTube in Safari …….No big deal but why just Audio?3rd party Apps Netflix Now I know we don't have Netflix in NZ and it is actually built into Apple TV in the U.S. but still this is a third party app with Airplay built in which only streams AudioAir Video A great 3rd Party app which Steve has reviewed for the site…Tap the Airplay button……..Audio only!!!!Anyway rant over! Parts of Airplay are spectacular, but the rest as I say is half baked. Here's hoping an update for ATV / iOS Devices fixes these shortcomings in the near future.(Paul has made 320 comments)
