Wise article.. Latvia and the rest of Baltics must stick together with NATO, but we must change our defence strategy, withdrawing some of the troops from the international missions and focussing them more on the territorial defence instead.

... Teheran, Yalta and Potsdam, now Peking, and poor Georgia like Kuwait/Iraq did not know what hit it ! ... Why did USA not realize, that pressing Latvia's Prime Minister VVF to support a costitutional misinterpretation, which led to the illegal annexation of the Abrene region and other illegaly occupied bits of Latvias's territory, would encourage the intensification of the agressive politics of Putin's Russia, elswhere as well ... ... Is it a principle that can be used to manipulate the Palestinie situationas well ???!!! ... Is USA is settling its foreign problems with other peoples assets, because of lack of foresight in its foreign policy - just like forever it seems ...!!! ???
