If Russia is not ready for change it should stop www-ish foolish statements as well as stop blaming the west for Russia' s choice not to change. Strong reaction from the west would facilitate changes in Russia, as Russia would see that it should act responsibly and foolish www-ish statements do not help. Absence of reaction would be seen as a green light for Russia' s neo-imperialist policies.
