What is your opinion, should not there be more aggressive reaction to Russian military activities from the side of the US and the Great Britain? Georgia and Russia are not at war - why not send a couple of planes to Tbilisi airport and areas near South Osetia with "military medics", "observers", etc.

You seem to be oblivious of "On December 11, 1994, Russian forces launched a three-pronged ground attack towards Grozny", when saying that winter will calm things (?) down. Things were getting worse in Chechnya, Bosnia too at a point in time, if you recall. What was left over could no longer be referred to as things. The substance was mauled and destroyed. What keeps the western observers from speaking out clearly? Are you still toying with the idea of seeing Kremlin Russia as some kind of partner? I thought better of grown-up men.
